Pre-Requisites: | Medically fit and should be above 18 years old. Cable Car station Or Ski lift station site /Classroom arrangements with Projector and screen. |
Trainers: | On Ropes approved trainers. |
Target Participants: | The course is designed specifically for Ski Resorts Rescue Teams who provides their clients with the knowledge and techniques that will be needed to operate safely and effectively in rescue and evacuation operations from a cable car or ski lift chair at their sites. |

Class Room Sessions
- Introduction to Work at height Industry
- Recognizing the hazards when operating at height.
- Concepts regarding risk, harm, prevention and protection
- Surveillance during the activity
- Personal Protective equipment
- Fall Factor
- Basic PPE Inspection Inspection & Maintenance procedure
Practical Sessions
- Introduction to different systems – Access, Anchor base, Differents type of PPE equipment wearing safety.
- PPE standards, uses & limitations
- Safe Access method to the Tower station
- Transfer technique to Cabin Or Chair from station
- Hazards and risks associated while raising/lowering systems.
- Lowering from Cabin Or Chair
- Belay Techniques ( injured or unconscious persons and long-distance lowering)
- Retrieve the installed system
- Review of systems & processes

- Cable Car & Ski Lift Chair's standards/legislation.
- Identfying and understanding Hazards and Risk related to Cable Car & Ski Lift activities.
- Personal Protective Equipment's Standard usage and selection.
- safe use of fixed ladders on towers, safe method of access, approach methods from the cableway.
- Advance Lowering & Reverse Belaying Techniques.
- Safe operating procedure of Cable Car & Ski Lift Access & Rescue

Certification & Validity
- Upon finishing the course, there will be a competency assessment, and those who succeed will receive a Training Certificate issued by On Ropes. It is crucial to remember that this certificate remains valid for a duration of one year. To ensure its ongoing validity, an annual refresher training session will be conducted to keep your skills and knowledge up to date.
