Protective Wear : | Harness, Helmet, Safety Shoes, Gloves & Comfortable clothing for practical sessions. |
Pre-Requisites: | Minimum 1 year of experience of Rope Access Level.
Medically fit and should be above 18 years old. Site-Hall/Classroom arrangements with Projector and screen. |
Trainers: | Allied approved trainers. |
Target Participants: | The objective of this module is to acquire the knowledge and skills to train users of the EXO evacuation system. |

- Safety systems.
- PPE standards, uses & limitations
- Anchor Selection & Knots
- Fall Factor
- Belaying for EXO training
- ‘Roll out’ technique (including anchoring at the window sill).
- PPE inspection (Basic Inspection and maintenance procedure)
- Review of systems & processes
Key Deliveries
- General principles of Work at Height, standards/legislation.
- Identfying and understanding Hazards and Risk related to Rope Access.
- Personal Protective Equipment's Standard usage and selection.
- Anchor Selection, Rigging and sharing Load , Knot tieing techniques.
- Descending & Ascending techniques
- Safe operating procedure.
- Basic inspection and maintenance criteria for PPE.
Certification & Validity
- Upon completion of the course, On Ropes will issue you a participation certificate. An annual refresher training session is recommended to keep your skills and knowledge up to date.
